Position Summary:

We’re looking for a caring, organized, and dependable House Manager to join our team. In this role, you’ll oversee the day-to-day operations of our home, support our residents, and work alongside a dedicated team that truly makes a difference. Job Duties:

  • Create and manage staff schedules.
  • Coordinate maintenance and repairs for the home and company vehicles while maintaining service records.
  • Schedule and attend medical appointments with clients as needed and maintain an appointment log.
  • Communicate with day programs, transportation, families, and guardians regarding the residents and any changes due to dr. appointments/illness.
  • Oversee and administer medications.
  • Review and update Medication Administration Records (MARs).
  • Monitor daily services to ensure quality care and support.
  • Follow and implement Individual Service Plans (ISPs).
  • Complete and oversee required documentation and monthly reports.
  • Responsible for assisting individuals with daily activities which may include outings, cleaning, cooking, and personal hygiene.
  • Reconcile resident’s funds monthly or more often if needed.
  • Encourage and schedule client activities in social networks and the community.
  • Prepare the monthly menu, do the weekly grocery shopping and bi-weekly bulk shopping.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure the home operates smoothly.
  • Participate in the on-call rotation.
  • Perform other duties as needed to support the team and individuals we serve.

Minimum Qualifications and Skills:

  • At least 18 years of age
  • Strong organizational, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Knowledgeable in computer programs, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
  • Valid Ohio driver’s license with 5 or fewer points
  • Current automobile insurance
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Willingness to obtain CPR, First Aid, and Medication Administration Certification 1
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in direct care
  • Minimum 1 year of experience as a supervisor
  • Experience preferred in working with individuals with developmental disabilities
